Here Maverick gets a taste of a disciplinary measure often given to students who misbehaved. Maverick was good enough to demonstrate. His after school punishment would have been cleaning the outhouse.

Students were asked what they would purchase in this hardware store if they could only choose three items and tell why those items would be useful.

School in the past. The teacher was very strict and walked around with a switch. Children were to be seen and not heard and speak only when spoken to. You could have heard a pin drop in that classroom!
