About Me

Mrs. Towne: Hi! My name is Cathy Towne. I am married to Brian and am very proud of my two grown children; Daniel is a Junior High School Teacher with Edmonton Public and Alison, who is married to Deryk, is a Dancer. I have thirty plus years of teaching experience in three different school jurisdictions at a variety of grade levels. Most of my experience is at the grade one level and admittedly, it is my favorite. I LOVE TEACHING AND LEARNING! There is so much new in education and I believe Robina Baker School is a leader in many areas, particularly Literacy. I am excited about working with your child this year and will do everything I can to provide a first grade experience that will inspire your child to love learning and become confident and self-motivated.
